Resume of Chen Winkler, the artist

Chen, a ninth-generation Israeli and retired colonel, is a stalwart Zionist whose artistic legacy spans continents. His sculptures, which range from monumental installations in public parks to intimate home pieces, have graced both solo and group exhibitions worldwide, finding homes in prestigious galleries and private collections.

Rooted in a rich family heritage, Chen's journey in art began in the marble factory owned by his family for three generations, where he honed his craft and developed a distinctive technical prowess.

Chen's creations in marble, stone, iron, and glass reflect a mastery of diverse materials and innovative techniques. His sculptures are not merely structures but dynamic forms that embody flow, harmony, and a minimalist edge. They resonate with the vitality of life, mirroring the fluidity and complexity of human interaction with the environment. Chen’s work challenges conventional boundaries, fearlessly exploring varied textures and forms.

In addition to his sculptural works, Chen's exquisite jewelry collection showcases his versatility. Each piece is a fusion of precious metals and select stones, either locally sourced from the Land of Israel or the renowned Hoshan Stones, crafted with the same passion and precision that define his larger artworks.

Chen's dedication to the arts extends beyond his creations; he also leads the Netanya Artists' Association, advocating for artistic communities. His pieces can be viewed at Chen's Art Gallery in the historic Jaffa Port, inviting admirers to experience a tangible connection to art and heritage.

Monuments

Chen approaches the creation of monuments with a unique blend of sensitivity and creativity, inviting you to share your vision for your loved one's memorial. Monuments serve as a beautiful, symbolic, and enduring tribute, evolving over time from simple plaques to intricate sculptures that vividly capture the essence of the departed—reflecting their beliefs, life's work, or affiliations with meaningful organizations.

When it comes to designing a monument, it's crucial to gather comprehensive insights about the individual(s) to be honored. Understanding their character traits and the landscape where the monument will be placed ensures that the final design not only harmonizes with its surroundings but also provides a fitting and resilient homage.

Chen is committed to personal attention and collaboration, ensuring that every detail of the memorial resonates with you and honors your loved one faithfully. From the initial consultation to the final touches, Chen works closely with you to craft a memorial monument that meets your highest expectations, preserving the memory of your loved one with dignity and artistry.
