A bird will open

The piece, which belongs to the series of bird sculptures, is made of Yiftah marble, from a quarry near a kibbutz in the Upper Galilee.
It is a rare stone in a reddish pink color and is used by me in many of my works.
The processing and polishing demonstrate the movement of birds in flight, and the multiplicity of shades in the stone looks like the shadow of several birds flying in a flock.
