Butterfly 3

A statue that refers to the secession period, made of quartz stone from a trapped layer that was cut in a quarry in the Rosh Ha'Ain area. The configuration of the butterfly wings and the way in which they open to two sides embody the act of tearing and separating from a picking block, with the punching of the holes in front of their surface symbolizing the characteristic points of butterfly wings.
